“150” é um spin-off da série “180”, usando de folhas de lixa que utilizo durante meu trabalho como pedreiro, continuo a explorar a relação entre arte e trabalho braçal. Seja com tinta ou outros materiais, paredes ou outras superfícies, a prática compartilha de uma semelhante proximidade e sensibilidade entre o diluir e aplicar. A palavra “obra” se apresenta lá e cá, um canteiro de obras e uma obra de arte. A obra está voltada para a materialização e construção; imagens são obras, e paredes se levantam como esculturas. dessa vez usando o verso frontal da lixa, a série explora também a relação entre contato e desgaste.

150 is a spin-off of the series 180. Using sheets of sandpaper that I use in my work as a bricklayer, I continue to explore the relationship between art and manual labor. Whether with paint or other materials, on walls or other surfaces, the practice shares a similar closeness and sensitivity between thinning and applying. The word obra appears here and there: a construction site (canteiro de obras) and a work of art (obra de arte). The work is oriented toward materialization and construction; images are works, and walls rise like sculptures. This time using the front side of the sandpaper, the series also explores the relationship between contact and wear.
