“7 Flores pro Almoço (2025), é das obras que dialoga com duas pesquisas em andamento, O D É (ontologias do ébano) e PETM (pianos ébanos e teclas melaninikas) que tem como premissas, questionamentos e imaginários de cosmologias entre seres “afroconfluentes” através das relações interespecíficas com o natural, um despertar. Além das flores como símbolo contracolonialista, a pintura faz referência a quem tem sede e pressa por um almoço, repleto de saberes, gostos, texturas e a soma de uma herança ancestral alimentar, pressa pra banquetear-se devagar, com paciência, pra se tornar ébano.

7 Flowers for Lunch (2025) is one of the works in dialogue with two ongoing research projects, O D É (ontologies of ebony) and PETM (ebony pianos and melaninik keys), whose premises are questions and imaginaries of cosmologies among "Afro-confluent" beings through interspecies relationships with the natural world: an awakening. Beyond the flowers as a counter-colonial symbol, the painting refers to those who are thirsty and hungry for a lunch full of knowledge, flavors and textures, the sum of an ancestral food heritage: a hurry to feast slowly, with patience, in order to become ebony.
