A Densidade da Memória (2026). Trazendo como identidade diversos significados, a obra transita pelo conceito de peles, representando a ancestralidade, os antepassados e o seio da natureza. Interpreta a densidade da memória através da associação com o Ìrókò - árvore sagrada e orixá do candomblé reverenciado pela ancestralidade e sabedoria, guardião das florestas e da dimensão do tempo na ligação entre a vida e a morte - traz a compreensão ampliada do ser humano e sua relação com o mundo através da tecnologia ancestral de afirmação de um povo com sua história. A artista se inspirou em suas memórias e vivências, em seus antepassados africanos e indígenas, nascida numa casa de candomblé sob a proteção, na entrada, de um pé de ìrókò, uma casa forjada no matriarcado de descendência africana pela necessidade de sobrevivência e manutenção das raizes culturais e religiosas.
The Density of Memory (2026) carries multiple layers of meaning, moving through the concept of skins as representations of ancestry, forebears, and the womb of nature. The work interprets the density of memory through its association with Ìrókò—the sacred tree and orixá of Candomblé, revered for ancestry and wisdom, guardian of the forests and of the dimension of time, connecting life and death. Through this reference, the work offers an expanded understanding of the human being and its relationship with the world through the ancestral technology that affirms a people's history and cultural continuity. The artist drew inspiration from her own memories and lived experiences, from her African and Indigenous ancestors, having been born into a Candomblé house protected at its entrance by an Ìrókò tree. It was a home forged within an African-descendant matriarchy, shaped by the need for survival and for the preservation of its cultural and religious roots.
