Em Corpo-identidade, o rosto desaparece para que o corpo possa falar. Coberta por folhas amazônicas, o corpo negro feminino afirma uma identidade que se constrói na relação entre ancestralidade, território e natureza. As costas expostas evocam vulnerabilidade e resistência, enquanto o tecido azul evoca nobreza e remete às águas que atravessam a Amazônia. A obra propõe uma reflexão sobre pertencimento, reconhecendo o corpo negro como espaço vivo de memória, existência e reinvenção.
In Body-Identity, the face disappears so that the body can speak. Covered by Amazonian leaves, the Black female body asserts an identity built through the relationship between ancestry, territory and nature. The exposed back evokes vulnerability and resistance, while the blue fabric evokes nobility and recalls the waters that flow through the Amazon. The work proposes a reflection on belonging, recognizing the Black body as a living space of memory, existence and reinvention.
