Corpo_Território – Raízes is a mixed-media diptych composed of two pieces measuring 39 × 49 cm each, bringing together painting, monotype, and body prints on Paraná board, using natural pigments extracted from local clays, araucaria bark, and araucaria pine nuts (pinhão). The work materializes the encounter between skin and territory, where the body becomes a living archive of memory, ancestry, and belonging, traversed by the landscape of Paraná and by Afro-Bahian heritage. The body marks and organic materials build an affective cartography in which the first skin is no longer understood only as a boundary and reveals itself also as a passage between nature, history, and identity. In dialogue with The Five Skins and with the theme of the 4th Bienal Black, the work invites us to perceive roots as a sensory experience, where texture, gesture, and memory remain inscribed in matter.
