Enikeji (2023) é uma pintura a óleo que articula retrato e paisagem urbana para refletir sobre memória, identidade e deslocamento. Inspirado em elementos da língua iorubá que evocam a ideia de uma "segunda presença" ou "outro eu", o título dialoga com a figura translúcida que acompanha a personagem principal. A obra propõe pensar o corpo como território onde coexistem passado, ancestralidade e experiência, aproximando-se do tema As Cinco Peles pelas marcas visíveis e invisíveis que constituem a identidade.

Enikeji (2023) is an oil painting that brings together portraiture and urban landscape to reflect on memory, identity, and displacement. Inspired by elements of the Yoruba language that evoke the idea of a “second presence” or “other self,” the title engages with the translucent figure accompanying the main character. The work invites us to consider the body as a territory where past, ancestry, and experience coexist, resonating with the theme The Five Skins through the visible and invisible marks that shape identity.
