A obra Entrada explora o conceito de pessoas escravizadas que durante a travessia do atlântico não chegaram a seu destino. Morreram tentando buscar sair da escravitão e continuar com a dignidade de suas vidas. É um tema associado as migrações contemporâneas e como buscamos outras oportunidades que tão pouco chegaram a seu destino. A figura central da obra é uma deidade do fundo do mar que guia as pessoas em seu novo rumo. A obra Entrada nasce de uma residência onde o artista trabalhou o conceito do mar, intitulado Mar adentro, historias profundas. Pensando nas vivências de todas as pessoas que perderam suas vidas durante esse processo e como o mar se converteu em seu novo lugar de liberdade. Na obra o artista trabalhou com uma diversidade de materiais que ajudaram a construir uma historia visual criando harmonia entre elas.

La Entrada (The Entrance) explores the experiences of enslaved people who did not reach their destination during the transatlantic crossing, losing their lives while seeking to escape enslavement and preserve their dignity. The work connects these histories with contemporary migration, in which people searching for new opportunities likewise may never reach their destinations. At the center of the work is a deity from the depths of the sea who guides them toward a new path. La Entrada emerged from the residency Mar Adentro, Historias Profundas, where the artist explored the sea as a space holding the experiences of those who lost their lives during these crossings and for whom the ocean became a new home of freedom. Through a diversity of materials, the work constructs a visual narrative that brings these histories into dialogue.
