Filetes da Re-existência é um diálogo entre imagens dos/as filetadores/as de peixes da Pedra do Peixe, Ver-o-Peso, Belém-PA. As imagens foram costuradas para formar um organismo, uma coletividade. A costura dá movimento, interação e também fragilidade ao conjunto de imagens, que permitem tecer relações e pensar fotografia de maneira expandida. Costurar neste trabelho é uma analogia à proximidade, ao acolhimento de cada sujeita/o que está nas imagens, como uma forma de romper com uma relação colonial de fixar nas imagens o outro como coisa, como objeto, o que foi reproduzido de forma desumanizante e violenta nos carte de visite.
Filetes da Re-existência is a dialogue between images of the fish filleters of Pedra do Peixe, at the Ver-o-Peso market in Belém, Pará. The images were sewn together to form an organism, a collectivity. The stitching gives movement, interaction, and also fragility to the set of images, which make it possible to weave relations and to think of photography in an expanded way. Sewing, in this work, is an analogy for closeness, for welcoming each subject who appears in the images, as a way of breaking with a colonial relation that fixes the other in the image as a thing, as an object, something that was reproduced in a dehumanizing and violent way in cartes de visite.
