Livro de Artista (2024) é uma obra construída a partir de pintura e colagem sobre papel, criada durante a residência da Bienal Black Brazil na RAVC. O trabalho nasce do reencontro com memórias da infância no interior da Bahia, evocando as brincadeiras de rua, o campinho de terra batida do Nestor, os amigos e os caminhos percorridos. Os riscos de carvão feitos pela avó nas paredes e as histórias de seres mitológicos que povoaram sua imaginação reaparecem como imagens e símbolos. Entre memória, afeto e imaginação, o livro estabelece um diálogo entre a criança que desenhava e o artista que hoje transforma essas lembranças em linguagem visual.

Livro de Artista (2024) is a work built from painting and collage on paper, created during the Bienal Black Brazil residency at RAVC. The work is born from a reencounter with childhood memories in the interior of Bahia, evoking street games, Nestor's packed-dirt soccer field, friends, and the paths once traveled. The charcoal marks his grandmother made on the walls and the stories of mythological beings that filled his imagination reappear as images and symbols. Between memory, affection, and imagination, the book establishes a dialogue between the child who used to draw and the artist who today transforms these memories into visual language.
