Mérìndilogún (2025) é uma instalação em calcogravura e búzios sobre fenolite que transforma a parede em um tabuleiro de caminhos e destinos, onde placas de cobre se articulam em um arranjo geométrico. A partir do sistema divinatório do Candomblé que dá nome à obra, a proposta tenciona a revelação e o ocultamento por meio de búzios gravados em relevo que emergem da matéria metálica. As texturas profundas da água-forte e da ponta-seca, somadas à tridimensionalidade das peças físicas, convidam à leitura visual, dialogando com a ancestralidade ao tratar o Mérìndilogún como memória, resistência e filosofia sagrada.

Mérìndilogún (2025) is an installation combining intaglio printmaking and cowrie shells on phenolic laminate, transforming the wall into a board of paths and destinies, where copper plates are arranged in a geometric composition. Drawing on the Candomblé divination system from which the work takes its name, the piece explores the tension between revelation and concealment through cowrie shells engraved in relief that emerge from the metallic surface. The deep textures of etching and drypoint, combined with the three-dimensionality of the physical elements, invite a visual reading while engaging with ancestry and approaching Mérìndilogún as memory, resistance, and sacred philosophy.
