The installation Não se esqueça da arqueologia do marrom proposes a reflection on the way we interact with and transform the spaces and times in which we live. But this science needs to go down into the deep layers of the soil to gain access to these traces. It is therefore possible to affirm that remnants and traces can define us as societies and as individuals. And further, that they can define us in different ways and at different layers. It is they that allow us, when "unearthed," to visualize a wide variety of objective and subjective aspects of our humanity. On the other hand, we can create analogies and symbolisms between archaeology and the color brown. Brown evokes the earth, the skin, nature, the symbolisms of "beginning and end." Brown also evokes mystery, being the union of different pigments. Finally, this installation proposes reflections on the body, the world, symbolisms, the earth, the planet, time, and space. It is a composition of different organic and non-organic matters and materials that "are born, grow, produce, reproduce, build, destroy, and merge": transforming or amalgamating. Archaeology is a science, a study that examines traces (constructions, tools, human artifacts). In other words, the study of the set of material and cultural elements that reflect the life and organization of different societies and cultures.
