Onde o corpo repousa (2025) é uma pintura a óleo sobre papel que modela o corpo como um território sensível, onde vulnerabilidade e permanência coexistem. A monocromia em tons de roxo e azul traz à tona estados internos frequentemente silenciados em homens negros. A cor, o corpo e o olhar constituem uma narrativa com as peles: onde esses corpos, ainda que atravessados pelas mazelas sociais, podem encontrar abrigo, repouso e possibilidade de ser vulnerável.
Onde o corpo repousa (2025) is an oil painting on paper that explores the body as a sensitive territory where vulnerability and permanence coexist. The monochromatic palette of purple and blue brings to the surface inner states that are often silenced in Black men. Color, body, and gaze form a narrative through the skins, where these bodies, although marked by social hardships, can find shelter, rest, and the possibility of being vulnerable.
