Organyka Yaz Aya (2025) is an acrylic painting that turns the vertical canvas into a mystical portal of ancestry and spirituality, connecting plural bodies and knowledges. From the central female figure emerging from the cosmos, the work powerfully weaves together the Yaz symbol, of the Amazigh people of the African desert, and the Adinkra symbol Aya, alongside the Brazilianness of colorful festival flags, proposing a deep reflection on freedom and resistance as forces inseparable from nature. Through the saturated colors and dotted outlines characteristic of the artist Lu Morgado, the painting invites the public to see Art as a living manifesto of mystical connection, where body and matter become sacred territory of memory, autonomy, transformation and reflection.
