Pulse (2026), by Evamm, is part of an investigation that emerges from the coexistence of body, matter, landscape, and spirituality. Created directly on the earth, in a meditative state and in continuous dialogue with the rhythms of the environment, its surface records the passage of rain, the presence of medicinal plants, and the action of time as constitutive agents of the image.

This pictorial field absorbs events, allowing organic elements to leave their own traces and affirm an intelligence that extends beyond human intention. Painting thus emerges as a relational field, where medicinal plants and re-signified materials challenge the boundaries between art and life, bringing ancestral knowledge, healing practices, and ecologies of care into proximity. Suspended by an invisible mounting system, the canvas maintains a delicate distance from the wall, resisting the rigidity of a static object. The painting seems to breathe, preserving a sense of movement and the continuity of the gesture from which it originated. In dialogue with the thematic axis “Community,” the work proposes a reflection on belonging and interdependence. By recognizing that the human body shares the same cycles as the earth, the work asserts itself as an expanded condition of life.
