REDES INVISÍVEIS” é uma instalação feita com bordados no trecido de sisal, elementos da natureza, terra e peças cerâmicas. Propõe ao observador pensar nas relações entre as árvores, o que sentem e como se comunicam. Pesquisas recentes revelam que as árvores se comunicam entre si de maneira surpreendentes, formando uma verdadeira “internet” subterrânea através de suas raízes e fungos. Isso nos faz refletir sobre a importância de preservar esses ecossistemas e respeitar as interconexões que mantém o equilíbrio de vida na Terra, inclusive a sobrevivência do ser humano.

Invisible Networks is an installation composed of embroidery on sisal fabric, natural elements, earth, and ceramic pieces. The work invites viewers to reflect on the relationships between trees—what they perceive and how they communicate. Recent research has revealed that trees communicate with one another in remarkable ways, forming a true underground “internet” through their roots and fungal networks. This understanding encourages us to reflect on the importance of preserving these ecosystems and respecting the interconnections that sustain the balance of life on Earth, including the survival of humankind.
